Description
Roy Rogers, the King of the Cowboys, and Dale Evans, his saddlemate onscreen and off, host a roundup of Roy's best films, which made him #1 at the box office for all Western stars, every year from 1942 to 1954. The only versions authorized by the Rogers estate, they're mastered with the best available source material and contain added bonusus as Roy, Dale, and their guests recall the "happy trails" they've traveled together!

Reunited with director Joseph Kane (Young Buffalo Bill), Roy stars with Sally Payne as "Wild Bill Hickok" and "Calamity Jane" Canary, who foil a foreign plot to take over California in the dark days of the Civil War, Nicholas Tower (John Miljan) hires local gunman Morrell (Hal Taliaferro) to cut all lines of communication to the Coast - but they haven't counted on Bill, who's torn between Jane and Louise Mason (Jacqueline Wells).
