Description
Genetic researcher Dr. Hiram Fiedling and his daughter Julia work alone at a remote mountain laboratory, accessible only by foot. Funded by a corporate giant Justin Kamen, Fielding conducts wild and often irresponsible - experiments into the very fabric of life. In his quest for knowledge, he accidentally creates something big and dangerous. Something hungry!

One day, when Kamen suddenly loses communication with the isolated lab, he gathers a team of mercenaries to hike in. Led by Capt. Jonas Spender, ex-FBI, the team of five includes Caitlin, also ex-FBI, Jason, Ex-Marine, Lila, ex neo-nazi militia, and the clean up-man, ex IRA known only as the Doctor. Old grudges and resentments surface, so tension runs high.

During the two-day hike the team encounters bloody human carnage, evidence of the monster. They find Julia alive in a tree, but she is catatonic with fear, unable to describe the creature. It is clear, however, that something large and strong is out there. At the lab there is no sign of life. They are forced to face and fight he creature, finally revealed! They must also defend themselves against each other. Few, if any, will survive the blood-drenched confrontation.
