Anne Parillajud (La Femme Nikita) is Marie, a vampire who puts Pittsburgh in peril when she fails to kill off one of her victims: mob boss Sal Macelli (Robert Loggia of Big and Jagged Edge). Sal realizes what a lucky stiff he is: a vampire with deadly powers! If Marie and her undercover cop boyfriend (Anthony LaPaglia of Betsy's Wedding and The Client) can't stop the mobster and his new "family" of goons, Pittsburgh will be th pits.

Director John Landis saw in Michael Wolk's script many "possibilities to be outrageous." As in An American Werewolf in London, Landis makes them outrageous screen reality, particularly in a juicy role for Don Rickles. Boy meets ghoul, horror meets humor and humor meets dead-on special effects in Innocent Blood.
